Classroom Wishlist

Even in the best equipped classrooms, teachers have a wish list. We think about all of those things that we use on a regular basis and run out of (dry erase markers, lysol wipes, kleenex, and more) and we imagine those fun and exciting DIY projects that we would really love to work on some day (Pinterest can be a blessing and a curse).

Below you'll find some of those "special interest" items that we would love to have and use in the music room and some "day-to-day" necessities that we need to keep stocked. We love old tech! If you have an old iPod, iPad, or mp3 player that you don't use anymore, consider donating it to the school! We could revamp and reload these devices to be used in class for listening stations, center activities, and more!

I'm looking for ribbons! I have a DIY project in mind to create ribbon rings for movement (like the one pictured above). I've got the rings, but need fabric/satin ribbons of all sizes and colors!

We go through a lot of dry erase markers every year because we use them a lot! With upcoming compositions projects, I know that we will need more markers and "Expo" brand is the best! They last the longest, don't wear out easily, are non-toxic and easily washable.

Believe it or not, I have a lot of old CDs that I sometimes use for class or to accompany the choir and I’d love to keep them more organized. A binder (or even just the sleeves inside) would make it much easier to keep track of everything.
